Abuja, Nigeria – Officials from the Yobe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) recently conducted a study tour to the GoHealth office complex as part of efforts to enhance their understanding of healthcare administration and operational best practices.
During the visit, the delegation observed various departments within the complex, interacting with staff and witnessing day-to-day processes firsthand. The study tour aimed to provide practical insights that would complement prior presentations and demonstrations delivered earlier during the programme.
YSCHMA officials emphasized the importance of the visit in helping them implement innovative strategies and improve the delivery of contributory healthcare services in Yobe State. By engaging directly with GoHealth staff, the delegation was able to gain valuable knowledge on workflow management, service delivery, and operational efficiency within a functional healthcare management system.
The exercise forms part of broader efforts by the Yobe State Government to strengthen the contributory healthcare scheme, improve citizen access to quality health services, and ensure that public healthcare initiatives align with best practices observed nationally.
The delegation’s hands-on experience is expected to inform policy decisions, streamline processes, and guide the implementation of similar operational frameworks within YSCHMA.
