Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, made serious allegations during an interview on Channels TV, claiming that the current Kaduna State administration paid ₦1 billion to bandits. He also alleged that the government not only paid the criminals but also issued an apology to them.

El-Rufai challenged the Kaduna State government to deny these accusations publicly if they are false. He insisted that he and his team have the evidence and proof to back up his claims.

As of now, the Kaduna State Government has not responded to these allegations. The statements made during the TV interview have sparked widespread discussion about security and governance in the state.
