Abubakar Malami, the former Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after spending several hours at the agency’s headquarters.

Malami personally signed a statement about his release, in which he expressed gratitude to Allah for divine intervention. He said the questioning was successful and that he has now been released.

He also revealed that he is scheduled for further discussions with the EFCC as the investigation continues, and he remains optimistic that the truth about the allegations against him—which he describes as fabricated—will come to light.
