The faces of the two suspects accused of attacking students of the Rivers State University’s Emohua campus have emerged following their arrest by operatives of the Anti-Cultism Unit in Emohua. The suspects, whose actions sparked outrage within the university community, are now in custody and will be formally arraigned in court tomorrow.

Emohua Local Government Chairman, Sir Chidi Lloyd, visited the Anti-Cultism Unit on Tuesday to receive firsthand briefing and to see the suspects. His visit underscores the council’s commitment to ensuring justice for the affected students and restoring security around the RSU campus.

Authorities say the swift arrest is part of intensified efforts to clamp down on cult-related violence and criminality within the LGA. The arraignment scheduled for tomorrow is expected to provide more clarity on the charges and the circumstances surrounding the attack.

The community awaits justice as investigations continue.
