Lagos, Nigeria — A serious security operation unfolded in Lagos State late Saturday evening after Nigerian troops attached to Operation MESA intercepted and arrested a man found carrying a cache of suspected explosive devices in the Ikorodu area of the metropolis. According to military and security sources, the operation took place at around 7:45 p.m. on March 21, 2026, in the Agric area of Ikorodu Local Government Area — a community known for its vibrant residential and commercial activity.
