The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Friday, August 22, 2025, officially commissioned the Minds Medica Specialist Hospital and Drug Rehabilitation Centre in Ondo City. The facility, courtesy of Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, founder of Minds Medica, is located at No. 11, Avenue 13A, Road 13, Funbi Fagun Estate, Ondo.
Governor Aiyedatiwa described the commissioning as "a significant milestone in our collective pursuit of providing holistic healthcare to the good people of Ondo State and beyond." He commended Dr. Adeyeye for his dedication to redefining mental healthcare and drug addiction rehabilitation.
Dr. Adeyeye shared that the inspiration for establishing the facility stemmed from a personal encounter with a mentally unstable woman he helped restore to full health. The centre now engages specialists from across Nigeria and abroad and is fully equipped to provide holistic rehabilitation and specialist medical services, aiming to promote mental well-being and drug-free living.
