President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received a delegation from UNICEF Nigeria, led by the Country Representative, Ms. Wafaa Saeed Abdelatef, on a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
During the engagement, UNICEF pledged its continued support and partnership towards the actualisation of key programmes under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The visit, seen as a step in the right direction, further underscores the President’s commitment to redefining modern leadership in Nigeria through strategic collaborations.
The Federal Government reaffirmed its readiness to work closely with UNICEF and other development partners in advancing some of its flagship initiatives, including the Nutrition 774 Initiative, the Economic and Financial Inclusion Programme, and the Nutrition Intervention Fund. These, the government noted, are critical components of its agenda aimed at improving the quality of life for Nigerians and strengthening social development.
