Nigeria's former President, Chief Olusegun Aremu Matthew Obasanjo, has inaugurated the newly completed Ahmadu Bello International Conference Centre (ICC) in Bauchi, describing Governor Bala Mohammed’s infrastructure initiatives as visionary and transformative.

Baba Aremu highlighted that the ICC marks a key milestone in Bauchi’s modernization, emphasizing its potential to stimulate economic activity, foster national unity, and position the state as a hub for investment and international engagement.

Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima also commended Governor Mohammed for his inclusive leadership and landmark developmental projects, assuring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration supports initiatives that drive sustainable growth and national cohesion.

Governor Mohammed thanked both dignitaries for their support, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to education, tourism, and economic development, while noting that the ICC is designed to make Bauchi a premier destination for major conferences and events in Northern Nigeria.
