PHDL, EFCC Explore Collaboration to Advance Affordable Housing for Nigerian Army Personnel

In line with the Chief of Army Staff’s vision to enhance the welfare of Nigerian Army personnel, the Managing Director/CEO of Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL), Major General Isaiah Allison, led a delegation on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, on a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

The visit focused on exploring areas of synergy between both organizations, particularly how national assets can be harnessed to support affordable housing delivery for army personnel under the Affordable Home Ownership Option for All Soldiers (AHOOAS) initiative.

During the visit, Major General Allison commended the EFCC for its role in asset recovery and national accountability, highlighting the shared commitment of both institutions to transparency, integrity, and national development. He emphasized that PHDL remains dedicated to executing the Chief of Army Staff’s vision of providing accessible and dignified housing solutions for Nigerian Army personnel.

In his response, Mr. Olukoyede welcomed the PHDL delegation and reaffirmed the EFCC’s readiness to collaborate with credible government institutions aligned with national welfare and development goals. He assured that recovered assets would continue to be managed responsibly and channeled toward initiatives benefiting the public.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthen inter-agency cooperation and establish frameworks to translate shared objectives into tangible outcomes in the housing sector.
