In a bid to empower the next generation and promote sustainable development, Hon. Bulus Makama, through the Bulus Makama Foundation, has successfully conducted a training program for youths across all ten wards of Kajuru Local Government Area, focusing on digital citizenship, leadership, and self-reliance. The initiative reflects Hon. Makama’s commitment to youth transformation and community development, equipping young people with skills necessary to navigate a rapidly evolving world.
Speaking on the significance of the program, Hon. Makama noted that the training goes beyond technical skills, emphasizing the importance of giving youths a sense of belonging while boosting their confidence to compete nationally and internationally. Participants expressed gratitude, describing the initiative as transformative, highlighting its role in expanding their perspectives, building self-confidence, and inspiring them to contribute positively to society.
This program represents the first phase of the Bulus Makama Foundation’s human capacity development initiative, with subsequent training sessions already planned to deepen its impact and reach more youths across Kajuru Local Government Area.
