In Bauchi State, armed bandits launched an attack on the home of a community volunteer in Zalau community, Toro Local Government Area. During the attack, the bandits killed Alhaji Muhammad Bakoshi, who was serving as the Discipline Officer for JIBWIS Zalau.
The bandits also abducted his wife, who had just given birth two weeks ago.
This tragic incident has increased fears across Nigeria. It highlights how bandit groups, which were mainly active in the Northwest, are now spreading their violence into other parts of the country, including the Northeast and North Central regions.
The rising insecurity is a serious concern for citizens and security officials everywhere, as the threat of banditry continues to grow across Nigeria.
