Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has officially absorbed all state-backed vigilantes into the civil service.
According to the governor, the move is aimed at formalizing local security structures and professionalizing community intelligence networks. He noted that integrating vigilantes into the civil service will strengthen coordination, enhance accountability, and improve grassroots security across the state.
