Birnin Kebbi Man Allegedly Beheads Almajiri Student, Tensions Rise

Tension has gripped Birnin Kebbi this morning following a gruesome incident involving a 30-year-old man identified as John, who has been accused of beheading a young almajiri student, Salisu Hassan, a pupil of Malam Mai Nasara Islamic School.

According to early accounts from the school, the young boy was reportedly attacked in circumstances that remain unclear, sparking immediate outrage among residents and raising fears of possible unrest in the area. Security operatives have cordoned off the scene while launching a full-scale investigation to determine the motive behind the killing and to verify the identity of the suspect.
