NAFDAC, DSS Join Forces to Curb Sale of Substandard Products in Zamfara

Zamfara State – In a proactive move to protect public health, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has held a consultative meeting with the State Command of the Department of State Services (DSS) to tackle the sale and distribution of unwholesome regulated products.

The meeting, led by the NAFDAC Zamfara State Coordinator alongside his team, brought together the DSS Director and key personnel to discuss strategic measures aimed at preventing improper storage, sale, and circulation of unsafe products in the state.

This collaboration signals an intensified effort by regulatory and security agencies to safeguard consumers and ensure compliance with product quality standards across Zamfara State.

Authorities emphasized that ongoing joint operations and monitoring will continue to protect residents from harmful and substandard goods.
