The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a TikTok user identified as Mirabel following an investigation into rape allegations she publicized online, which authorities say were found to be false.
Mirabel had posted a series of videos alleging that she was raped and physically assaulted with a blade by an unidentified man. The claims quickly gained traction on social media, prompting widespread reactions and expressions of sympathy. However, after initiating a formal investigation, police authorities reported discovering significant inconsistencies in her account.
