Gujba, Yobe State, Nigeria — Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, working alongside hybrid security forces and local partners, have successfully neutralized a suspected terrorist logistics supplier during an ambush along the Lamisuri axis in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State. The operation, carried out in the early hours of April 6, targeted key elements of insurgent supply chains as part of ongoing counter‑insurgency efforts in the North East.
According to military sources, the troops acted on credible intelligence indicating the movement of a supply vehicle used by insurgent collaborators to transport food, equipment, and communication devices to terrorist camps. As soldiers engaged the convoy, they neutralized the suspected logistics supplier while other insurgents fled into nearby bushland.
During the operation, troops destroyed a tricycle that was being used to move supplies, effectively disrupting the insurgents’ operational support network.
