A three-storey building collapsed in the Alakija area of Lagos State on Thursday morning, leaving an unknown number of people trapped beneath the rubble, according to multiple reports. The structural failure occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on June 25, 2026.

As of the time of filing this report, emergency responders and rescue operators had yet to arrive at the scene, while anxious residents and bystanders gathered around the collapsed structure awaiting intervention.
