PDP Acting National Chairman Hosts National Caucus Meeting Ahead of NEC Session

The Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum, presided over the party’s National Caucus meeting on Sunday ahead of the 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Monday.

The caucus convened at the Bauchi State Government Lodge, Tatari House, Asokoro, in Abuja, bringing together party leaders and officials to deliberate on strategies aimed at strengthening the PDP’s democratic practices and preparing for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement, the party emphasized its commitment to democratic ideology and called on members to unite in the collective effort to position the PDP for a successful electoral outcome in 2027.

Officials described the party as the leading platform for democratic governance in Nigeria, urging members and supporters to actively engage in party activities and contribute to the vision of a “New Nigeria” under PDP leadership.

Nuru Shehu Jos, Special Assistant on Media and Communications to the Acting National Chairman, confirmed the proceedings and highlighted the party’s resolve to remain at the forefront of national politics.
