On Day 11 of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors’ (NARD) 30-day ultimatum to the Federal Government, many medical officers and senior registrars are still awaiting their promotion and upgrade arrears, despite having been duly promoted according to service regulations.
NARD has called on the Federal Government to immediately clear all outstanding arrears to prevent industrial unrest and ensure fairness in remuneration. The association emphasised that prompt action is necessary to maintain stability and uphold the welfare of medical professionals across the country.
