Nasarawa State Government Signs MoU with Tiko Health Foundation to Support Adolescent Girls and Young Women

The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Tiko Health Foundation Nigeria and the Nasarawa State Government. The partnership aims to provide integrated services addressing the triple threat facing adolescent girls and young women in the state, including health, education, and social protection interventions.

During the ceremony, Governor Sule endorsed the introduction of the Measles-Rubella (MR) Vaccine, set to be rolled out in October 2025 through a collaboration between the Federal Government, Nasarawa State Government, and development partners. The initiative seeks to strengthen immunization coverage and improve overall health outcomes among young girls across the state.

The MoU reflects the state’s commitment to promoting holistic development, public health, and youth empowerment, ensuring that adolescent girls and young women receive the support, protection, and opportunities they need to thrive.
