President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Al’amin Muhammed Idris, CEO of Interface Africa, for emerging winner of the NextGen Innovation Challenge, securing a £1.5 million cash prize at the grand finale held on Thursday at Hilton London Paddington.
The initiative, championed by the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) in collaboration with UKALD London, is aligned with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and seeks to unlock the innovative potential of Nigerian youths. Interface Africa, representing Kaduna, was recognized for providing affordable solar financing to small businesses, promoting clean energy access in underserved communities.
President Tinubu praised the company’s efforts and emphasized that the prize will bolster its mission to expand sustainable energy solutions. He also acknowledged the 104 other participants, encouraging them to continue innovating and contributing to societal development.
