At the Bauchi Investment Summit 1.0, themed “Rebuilding a Resilient Economy: Optimizing Investment and Partnerships,” the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa, joined key stakeholders in discussing ways to harness Nigeria’s cultural and tourism potential for national development.
Responding to the invitation of Governor Bala Mohammed, the Minister led a panel session on “Tourism Sector Investments: Endowments and Associated Potentials.” She emphasized that Nigeria’s abundant tourism assets—spanning heritage sites, cultural diversity, and creative talent—hold the capacity to drive sustainable economic transformation if adequately supported through strategic public-private collaborations.
Barr. Musawa noted that unlocking these opportunities requires improved infrastructure, policy coordination, and creative industry empowerment to attract investors, create jobs, and boost community development. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to promoting Nigeria as Africa’s preferred destination for culture, tourism, and creative investments, while ensuring inclusivity and long-term growth across all regions.
