In the early hours, armed bandits launched a brutal attack on the Kabunga community in Kware Local Government Area of Sokoto State. The attack was violent and deadly, resulting in the deaths of two residents, including the community’s former councillor, Alh. Yahaya Bawa Rumus.

During the attack, several other members of the community were kidnapped by the bandits. The incident has left families devastated and the entire area in shock and mourning.

This recent attack is just one of many in Nigeria’s Northwest region, where communities are living in constant fear due to ongoing insecurity. The region continues to face violence and abductions that threaten peace and threaten innocent lives every night.

The security situation remains dire, and Nigerian authorities are under pressure to restore safety and peace to these troubled communities.
