The funeral prayer was reportedly held for Tsalha Moba following his death in the attack.
The reported killing comes amid continuing attacks affecting communities and security personnel in Zamfara State. On October 12, Daily Trust reported separate attacks in parts of the state, including the Damba area on the outskirts of Gusau, where members of a local vigilante group were reportedly killed.
As of the time of publication, Stone Reporters News had not independently confirmed the circumstances of Moba's death or obtained an official statement from the Zamfara State Police Command concerning the reported attack and funeral prayer.
