The Nigerian military has intensified its coordinated campaign against terrorist and bandit networks, with troops of Operation HADIN KAI and Operation FANSAN YAMMA sustaining aggressive clearance operations across the North‑East and North‑West theatres. In the North‑East, ground forces are conducting extensive patrols in the notorious Timbuktu Triangle and Sambisa Forest axis, long‑standing strongholds of insurgent groups. Intelligence‑led raids have yielded significant results, including the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators and the recovery of caches of weapons and ammunition. The Defence Headquarters has reiterated its commitment to sustaining these operations until all terrorist and bandit groups are degraded. The military also called on citizens to continue providing credible information to assist ongoing efforts.
