Senate President Godswill Akpabio has congratulated the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
In a goodwill message, Akpabio described Dr. Ogbuku as a leader who has brought renewed progress and transformation to the NDDC, noting that his leadership has marked a turning point for the Commission.
“I am proud of Dr. Ogbuku and what he has achieved in the NDDC for the good of our people. He has turned around the fortune of the Commission, and under him, the NDDC has experienced a new lease of life,” the Senate President stated.
He further emphasized that the celebration was not only about Dr. Ogbuku’s attainment of the golden age but also about “God’s goodness to the people of the Niger Delta through his leadership of the NDDC.”
Akpabio expressed confidence that Dr. Ogbuku will be remembered for the legacies he leaves behind in service to the Niger Delta, wishing him many more years of impactful leadership.
“Once again, I wish Dr. Ogbuku happy birthday and many happy returns,” he said.
