Adamawa Governor Meets with WOWICAN, Outlines Plans for Job Creation and Youth Empowerment

The Governor of Adamawa State met with the Adamawa State Chapter of the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) at the Government House in Yola. During the meeting, the Governor expressed gratitude for the group's prayers, encouragement, and solidarity.

The Governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to inclusive governance, emphasizing fairness, equity, and security as the pillars of their leadership. He highlighted the administration's plans to create 12,000 new jobs by December 2025, including:

- 5,000 Teachers: The Governor outlined plans to employ 5,000 teachers to improve the state's education sector.
- 5,000 Civil Servants: An additional 5,000 civil servants will be employed to support the state's administration.
- 2,000 Health Professionals: The Governor also plans to employ 2,000 health professionals to enhance the state's healthcare system.
- School of Technology and Entrepreneurship: A School of Technology and Entrepreneurship will be established to equip youths with practical skills for self-reliance.

The Governor emphasized his administration's commitment to ensuring that every child has access to quality education, every youth is meaningfully engaged, and every life in Adamawa is protected. He expressed determination to continue working towards these goals, stating that he will not rest until they are achieved.
