The campaign to identify, select, and enroll vulnerable groups into the community-based health insurance program has officially commenced in Hong Local Government Area. The initiative seeks to raise awareness, foster participation, and ensure that eligible beneficiaries are properly captured in line with program guidelines.

Community leaders, ward focal persons, and key stakeholders have been mobilized to actively support the campaign for effective implementation and greater impact.

As part of the commencement activities, the campaign team paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the Hong Primary Health Care Authority, Mr. Zaman Audu. The visit provided an opportunity to brief the leadership on the campaign’s objectives and to seek technical guidance and support. Mr. Audu commended the initiative and assured stakeholders of the Authority’s full cooperation.

Also speaking at the event, Mrs. Felicia Maindo, Director of Programs at the Adamawa State Contributory Health Management Agency (ASCHMA), stressed the importance of community participation in driving the success of the scheme.

The event transitioned into a technical session aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and skills required for the effective identification, selection, and enrollment of beneficiaries.
