Nigerian Pharma Leaders Join Global Stakeholders at FIP Conference in Copenhagen

The Director General of the Drugs Management and Control Services Agency (DMCSA), Pharm. Gali Sule, alongside the agency’s Director of Drugs & Supply, Pharm. Tukur Ibrahim, is participating in the ongoing Federation of International Pharmacists (FIP) Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The two officials were seen in discussions with a delegation of Indian pharmacists led by Professor Anand Shedge, Vice President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Mumbai. Their exchange centered on advancing modern drug information centres and strengthening international collaboration in the pharmaceutical sector.

The conference, which commenced on August 31 and runs through September 3, has drawn participants from across the globe, including veteran pharmacists, regulatory bodies, drug manufacturers, government representatives, and policymakers.

The gathering provides a platform for stakeholders to deliberate on innovative solutions, professional development, and strategies to improve access to quality medicines worldwide.
