Security Operatives Uncover Suspected Kidnappers’ Hideouts in Ugboha Forest

Operatives of the Edo State Special Security Squad have uncovered two abandoned houses allegedly used as hideouts by suspected kidnappers in Ugboha Forest, Esan South-East Local Government Area.

According to security sources, the discovery followed an intelligence-led operation aimed at dismantling criminal hideouts within the region. The suspected kidnappers were said to have used the abandoned structures to camp victims and evade security surveillance.

While investigations are ongoing, security operatives assured that the development marks another step forward in the government’s intensified campaign against insecurity in Edo State. Residents were also urged to remain vigilant and provide timely information that could aid ongoing operations.
