In a landmark move aimed at improving connectivity and boosting development in Southern Kaduna, Governor Senator Uba Sani, CON, has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the Jaba–Kwoi Township Road, a vital link to the Abuja highway. The Governor described the intervention as the most significant the local government has witnessed in over 15 years.

Governor Sani said, “This project is not just about asphalt and gravel; it is about connecting farmers to markets, children to schools, and patients to hospitals. It is about reducing poverty, expanding incomes, and strengthening the fabric of our communities.” He further assured that his administration is guided by fairness, equity, and justice, stressing that no community will be left behind and every voice will be heard.

The Governor highlighted that the road project is part of a broader initiative to expand infrastructure across Kaduna State, open new economic corridors, create jobs, and ensure shared prosperity for residents.

Following the ceremony, Governor Sani visited the ongoing 22.8km Asphalt Road project stretching from Madauchi through Madakiya to Kafanchan, linking Zango Kataf and Jema’a Local Government Areas. Expressing satisfaction with the progress so far, he urged contractors to maintain quality and ensure timely completion for the benefit of the communities and the state at large.
