A middle-aged woman was discovered unconscious on 17th September 2025, around 5:55 pm, by a police patrol team attached to the Vuniklang Division in Yola. The woman was found while trekking along Viniklang Junction and was immediately rescued by the officers. She was rushed to the Specialist Hospital in Yola for urgent medical attention.
At the time of discovery, the woman had no means of identification. The Adamawa State Police Command is appealing to members of the public with any information that could assist in identifying her to come forward. Authorities have advised that individuals may contact the Divisional Police Officer at Vuniklang or visit the State Specialist Hospital in Yola to help with identification.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, stated that the rescue underscores the commitment of the command to the safety and welfare of residents while urging the public to provide timely and credible information to support law enforcement efforts.
