The management of the National Commission for Nomadic Education (NCNE), Bauchi State Office, has paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman (Ubandoman Giade, Turakin Jawo).

The visit, according to the NCNE team, was aimed at strengthening collaboration with the Ministry in sensitisation and community engagement, which are crucial to expanding access to education for nomadic communities across the state.

Speaking during the meeting, the NCNE representative noted that building sustainable educational opportunities for nomads requires robust partnerships, adding that the Ministry of Information plays a pivotal role in driving awareness and advocacy.

In response, Commissioner Usman commended the Commission’s efforts and assured the Ministry’s support. “Education is central to development, and we will continue to support NCNE programmes through advocacy and publicity,” he said.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation in order to advance inclusive education and ensure that nomadic communities in Bauchi State are not left behind.
