Dr. Osamaye commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his people-focused policies that advance the welfare of children and women in the state. She highlighted the recent children’s day celebration, where students participated in intellectual competitions with rewards from the Governor, and praised the revival of the Children’s Parliament, which had been inactive for a long period. The Commissioner also lauded the first lady, Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, for her ongoing support for women and children across Ondo State.
The initiative will include lectures on digital literacy, healthy living, and guidance on navigating crises, aimed at empowering girls to drive positive change. Additionally, 3,000 sanitary pads will be distributed to selected secondary schools across the state. Dr. Osamaye will also feature on a special radio program on Adaba 88.9 FM at 8 AM on Monday, October 13, 2025, hosted by Hon. Gift Poroye Olamide, Speaker of the Third Children’s Parliament, to discuss issues affecting girl children and government interventions supporting them.
