Kano Student Ibrahim Muhammad Ranks Fourth in National Essay Writing Competition

A student from Government Technical College (GTC), Kano, Ibrahim Muhammad, has made Kano State proud by securing fourth place in the National Essay Writing Competition, which saw participation from over 500 students nationwide.

The achievement, announced recently, reflects the growing recognition of Kano State as a hub for educational excellence under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf. The state government has invested significantly in improving school infrastructure, empowering teachers, and providing opportunities that nurture the talents and skills of young Nigerians.

In his role as Senior Student Representative for Guidance and Counseling, Mukhtar S. Yahuza highlighted that Muhammad’s success is a testament to the impact of supportive learning environments and dedicated mentorship in Kano State schools.

“This victory is a source of pride for GTC Kano and the entire state. When students are provided with the right conditions and guidance, they can excel at both national and international levels,” Yahuza stated.
