Authorities in southern Nigeria have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the alleged kidnapping and rape of a young woman in Rivers State, in a case that has once again drawn attention to the risks associated with online interactions and job-seeking platforms. There, she reported being assaulted, raped, and robbed of her personal belongings before eventually being released.
