A bizarre scandal is rocking Lagos after a prominent billionaire businessman, described by sources as a major player in the oil and gas sector, was allegedly caught with his lover's used sanitary pad hidden inside his pocket during a visit to her Ikoyi residence – an act the terrified woman believes was for ritual purposes. The case has now escalated to include allegations of theft, intimidation, and a sophisticated plot to fraudulently reclaim the property he had previously gifted her, forcing the woman to flee the country and sparking an investigation by the Special Fraud Unit of the Nigeria Police Force.
According to multiple sources, the businessman had been in a relationship with the lady for over seven years. During that period, he allegedly funded her luxurious lifestyle, sponsored expensive international trips, and even purchased a house for her in the highbrow Ikoyi area of Lagos. Trouble reportedly began earlier this year when the businessman visited the lady at her residence while she was on her monthly period. After he left, the lady slept off. Upon waking, she made a disturbing discovery: the used sanitary pad she had discarded in the waste bin inside her bathroom the previous night had mysteriously vanished. Alarmed and suspicious, she immediately contacted the businessman and asked him to return. When confronted, he allegedly denied taking it. However, the terrified woman reportedly searched his bag and, to her horror, discovered the soiled sanitary pad hidden inside one of his pockets. Sources close to the matter revealed that his explanation was deeply unsatisfactory, and the woman told friends she believed the act was connected to ritual money-making or spiritual purposes. Shocked, she said she ran and hid for her life, locking the house after her.
The drama reportedly escalated after the incident. Insiders claim that the billionaire allegedly moved to reclaim the house he had previously gifted her by attempting to forge ownership documents. However, the bubble burst when the visibly shaken lady observed through her CCTV camera app that an ally of the oil mogul, together with other accomplices, had unlawfully gained access to her apartment. According to a petition she later filed, the following items were stolen during the break‑in: a Range Rover, a 2024 Lexus RX350, $50,000 (fifty thousand US dollars), N10 million (ten million Naira) in cash, and jewelry worth over £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds). Furthermore, she claimed that all the documents relating to the purchase of the property were fraudulently forged and re‑issued to bear the name of the oil mogul. She alleged that he had bribed his way to register the forged documents with the Federal Land Registry.
The woman also stated that her mother and siblings have since been subjected to threats, harassment, and intimidation capable of causing a breach of peace. Expressing fear for her safety, she claimed that influence, money, and power are being used against her. From her undisclosed location overseas, the woman engaged lawyers to write to the Special Fraud Unit of the Nigeria Police Force in Ikoyi, demanding a thorough investigation and justice. It was reliably gathered that the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu, was briefed by the Commissioner of Police in charge of the SFU, Eloho Edwin Okpoziakpo, and directed that a discreet investigation should be carried out to give the complainant justice. As of the time of filing this report, the businessman is reportedly unavailable, having gone into hiding to avoid public exposure. Police authorities have not publicly confirmed full details of the investigation, and no court has established the criminal allegations made by either side. The case continues to unfold, with many awaiting official statements from the police and the legal representatives of both parties.
