A mother of three in Oke Oyi, Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State, has made a desperate and emotional appeal to the Kwara State Government to intervene and secure the release of her three abducted children, who were taken by armed bandits during a brazen attack on her home. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed for security reasons, recounted her harrowing ordeal in a video that has since circulated widely on social media. She said the armed men invaded her residence at approximately 11:00 p.m., beat her and her children, and then abducted three of them, leaving her behind because she was unable to walk.
In the video, the distraught mother, speaking in a mixture of English and Yoruba, described the terrifying moment the bandits broke into her house. "Armed bandits broke into our house at about 11:00 p.m. They beat me and my children before abducting us. They were speaking the Hausa language. They later released me because I couldn't walk, but they took away my three children," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. She directly appealed to the Kwara State Government, urging them to come to her aid and help bring her children back home safely. "Kwara State Government, please come to our aid," she pleaded.
