Three Children Found Dead Inside Self-Proclaimed Prophetess' Home in Anambra, One Rescued Alive as Police Launch Investigation

A wave of shock and grief has swept through Umuduba Village in Ideani Community, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State after three children were found dead inside the residence of a self-proclaimed prophetess, while a fourth child was rescued alive in a disturbing incident that has prompted a full-scale police investigation.

The tragic discovery was reportedly made on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, after residents became suspicious of activities around the woman's residence and alerted security authorities. Responding officers forced their way into the house, where they found the lifeless bodies of three children. A fourth child, who was still alive, was rescued from the premises and rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.

The identities and ages of the four children have not been officially disclosed by authorities.
