Media personality Daddy Freeze has appealed to the Nigerian Army to reconsider the reported punishment of two soldiers who allegedly escorted civilians to the wedding of popular content creators Peller and Jarvis.
Reacting to the development, Daddy Freeze argued that the soldiers' presence at the event played a vital role in maintaining order and ensuring the safety of guests.
According to him, without the soldiers, suspected area boys could have smashed guests' car windows, putting their lives at risk.
"If not for these soldiers, they would have smashed our car windows, and our lives would have been in danger," Daddy Freeze said.
He urged the Nigerian Army to consider the circumstances surrounding the incident, stressing that the soldiers helped protect attendees and prevented potential unrest rather than engaging in misconduct.
The appeal follows reports that the Nigerian Army took disciplinary action against the two personnel over allegations that they served as escorts or security at the celebrity wedding without proper authorization.
