Barely 48 hours after exchanging vows at their white wedding ceremony in Lagos, Nigerian TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has issued a stern public warning to content creators, Nollywood producers, and social media users: respect his newlywed wife, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, or face the consequences. The warning, delivered via his Instagram Stories on Monday, August 10, 2026, comes as the couple transitions from a highly publicised courtship into formal marriage, and Peller made it abundantly clear that he will not tolerate any form of disrespect or boundary-crossing involving his wife.
In his post, the content creator addressed what he described as attempts to use his wife's name for online trends, content, or engagement in a manner he considers inappropriate. While acknowledging that people are free to mention Jarvis online, he insisted that they must not cross personal boundaries or deliberately create controversy around her. "Let it be known that my wife is my wife, and we are officially married," Peller wrote. "If you want to use her name for trends, content, or engagement, please do so with respect. Don't cross boundaries or mistake kindness for weakness". He concluded with an unmistakable warning: "Anybody who deliberately disrespects my wife or tries to create unnecessary drama will be dealt with properly and through the right channels. I don't play when it comes to my family. Respect my wife, respect our marriage, and everybody will be good".
The warning extends beyond general social media conduct to the entertainment industry itself. In a recent livestream, Peller specifically cautioned Nollywood producers and skitmakers against offering Jarvis any movie roles that involve kissing or romantic scenes with male actors. He made his position unequivocal, stating that giving his wife such roles would be disrespectful to their union. "Nollywood people have now seen that Jarvis and I are married. Don't ever give her a kissing role. I'm warning you all; stay in your lane," he declared. He also threatened to "harm" anyone who flouts his warning, stressing that the directive should be taken seriously. Peller further alleged that someone in the industry had already suggested casting Jarvis in a movie that would require kissing scenes, prompting his swift and forceful response.
In his live session, Peller also addressed his relationship with the entertainment industry more broadly, claiming he had been warned about its nature by singer Tiwa Savage. "Tiwa Savage once told me that industry people's hearts are really dark. I no dey follow anybody do industry. I blew up through another hustle," he said. He maintained that his success came from creating content on social media rather than through traditional entertainment channels, insisting that he owed no one loyalty. "I'll disrespect anyone that disrespects me in the industry. Don't tell my wife to come and act in a movie and be kissing in it. We just got married," he added.
Jarvis, for her part, has assured fans that her marriage will not affect her career. In a video broadcast shortly after the wedding, she said she remains committed to creating content and plans to expand her brand, including taking on more acting roles in the movie industry. Known for her AI and non-playable character (NPC) impressions, Jarvis thanked designer Prudent Gabriel for creating a robot-themed wedding dress that reflected the AI character she is known for. "Thank you for making me showcase my talent. Not that it is forgotten or left out. It is coming. It is still there and it is expanding. It is going to be the best and the greatest," she said.
The couple's journey to marriage has been closely followed by millions of fans. They completed their traditional marriage rites in Benin City, Edo State, before holding a civil wedding in Lagos on July 29, 2026. Their traditional wedding on August 1 was a star-studded event attended by fellow creators, celebrities, and fans, followed by the white wedding on August 8. Peller had previously revealed that he had enrolled in private marriage counselling to become a better husband to Jarvis. In July, he had also warned people, particularly older women, whom he accused of making videos to insult him and his fiancée.
Peller's latest warning signals a new phase in the couple's public life. While they remain active on social media and continue to share aspects of their lives with fans, the content creator has drawn a clear line between their public engagement and private boundaries. For the millions who have followed their romance from the screens of TikTok to the aisles of the church, the message is clear: Peller and Jarvis are no longer just content partners.
