Pastor Joshua Bulus of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna State, has reportedly died in a motorcycle accident while travelling to another church where he was scheduled to preach.
Bulus was said to have been on his way from Sabon Tasha to Emmanuel Baptist Church, Kallah, on Sunday, October 4, 2026, when the motorcycle he was travelling on was involved in a collision with another motorcycle.
According to information from people familiar with the incident, the cleric died at the scene of the crash.
The circumstances surrounding the collision, including the identities and condition of those involved in the other motorcycle, were not immediately available.
Bulus was reportedly travelling to Kallah to deliver a sermon when the accident occurred, cutting short his journey and leaving members of his church and community mourning his death.
The deceased pastor was originally from Kufana and lived with his family in Sabon Tasha, according to information provided by people familiar with his background.
He was also identified by community members as an Adara.
His death has reportedly generated grief among his family, church members, friends and others who knew him.
