Speaking after inspecting renovation works at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola, the governor highlighted the judiciary as a priority, noting that modern, well-furnished office spaces reflect the importance of this key arm of government. He also confirmed that the House of Assembly complex is undergoing comprehensive renovations, while old civil service buildings are being replaced with structures designed to meet the needs of a modern workforce.

In addition to infrastructure upgrades, Governor Fintiri noted significant improvements in the welfare of civil servants, including enhanced promotion schedules and financial benefits, which have been widely appreciated by workers across the state. “We are determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that our workers can deliver their best,” he stated, expressing satisfaction with the refurbishment projects.

The governor’s approach reflects a holistic strategy to strengthen governance by combining modern infrastructure with employee welfare. By prioritizing both physical facilities and staff motivation, the administration is creating an environment conducive to efficiency, accountability, and long-term development, setting a benchmark for other states seeking to modernize public service delivery.
