It was a day of celebration and pride for the people of Plateau State and Nigerians at large as Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil was officially inaugurated as the Managing Director of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).

In recognition of the milestone, Senator Simon Bako Lalong hosted a reception at his residence on Thursday to celebrate Dr. Tsenyil’s appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who entrusted him with the leadership of the strategic commission.
Speaking at the event, Senator Diket Plang described the appointment as “a welcome development and a kind gesture by President Tinubu to the Plateau people.” He emphasized that the decision reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President, which continues to assure Plateau citizens of inclusion and partnership in governance.
The colorful gathering was graced by prominent political figures, including the APC National Chairman, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, alongside other party stalwarts.
In a show of unity, the Plateau APC family and the wider community extended their best wishes to Dr. Tsenyil, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver on the responsibilities of his new office and drive development across the North Central region.
