Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group CEO of NNPC Ltd, headlined a pre-event dinner yesterday ahead of the 2025 Gas Technology Conference & Exhibition (Gastech) in Milan, Italy.

In his address, Ojulari reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to global energy transition and environmental sustainability. He emphasized that discussions at Gastech will go beyond technology, markets, and policy, focusing on translating innovation into energy availability and affordability — a cornerstone of Nigeria’s Gas-to-Prosperity Agenda.

Ojulari highlighted the importance of policies that foster sustainable development and investments that de-risk innovation while empowering communities. He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of linking Africa’s abundant resources with global markets, assuring that Nigeria is ready to be a reliable partner in achieving a just, inclusive, and equitable energy transition.

Gastech 2025, attended by over 50,000 professionals and more than 1,000 exhibitors from 150 countries, remains one of the leading platforms for global energy leaders to discuss developments shaping the future of the gas and energy industry.
