Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has emphasized that building a safer society is a collective responsibility that requires the efforts of all stakeholders. The Governor made this assertion when he received the newly deployed Controller of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nasarawa State Command, Controller Charles H. Wayagoron, and the new Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Commander Yahaya Sabo Adikwu, at the Government House in Lafia.
During the meeting, Governor Sule welcomed the new security chiefs and highlighted his government's recent interventions and investments in various security agencies. He assured them of his administration's continued support and backing for institutions that contribute to peace, order, and sustainable development in the state.
In their briefings to the Governor, Controller Wayagoron and Commander Adikwu provided updates on the current status of their respective commands. They discussed operational capacities, infrastructure, and challenges facing their agencies.
