Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has unveiled a puzzle book on the history of Lagos State, titled "Discover Lagos State: A History Puzzle Book". The book aims to promote cultural education, historical awareness, and creativity among young people. Sanwo-Olu reiterated his administration's commitment to supporting knowledge-based initiatives that strengthen identity, promote creativity, and inspire civic pride among citizens.

The launch event was attended by notable figures, including former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN. The governor urged teachers, parents, and school administrators to take full advantage of the puzzle book to reinforce learning in and outside the classroom. Fashola praised the initiative, highlighting the need for adequate funding and resources to support the Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB) in preserving the state's history .

Babajide Sanwo-Olu is a Nigerian politician and former banker who has been serving as the Governor of Lagos State since 2019. Born on June 25, 1965, Sanwo-Olu is 58 years old and has been married to his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, for over three decades. The couple has four children together.

The 220-page book is divided into two parts, covering the history, culture, tradition, and lifestyle of the people of Lagos, as well as significant periods in the state's history. It pays retro heritage and historical attention to the five traditional administrative divisions of Lagos, known as IBILE.

The puzzle book is expected to stimulate the minds of children and deepen their appreciation of Lagos State and its legacy. It provides a circle of growth for acquiring knowledge, practising skills, and reflecting on learning experiences. By promoting cultural education and historical awareness, the book aims to inspire civic pride among young Lagosians and encourage them to learn about their state's rich history and cultural heritage
