In a landmark push to reinforce transparency and discipline on Nigeria's roads, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced a major crackdown on corruption, with 563 motorists apprehended in July for attempting to bribe or unduly influence marshals on duty.
🔍 Osun State Tops the Chart with 155 Offenders
Leading the effort, the Osun State Sector Command booked 155 offenders, emerging as the state with the highest number of corruption attempts in the month under review. The Corps considers these efforts vital in cleansing road enforcement processes and ensuring safer, more disciplined motoring across the country.
🏅 Spotlight on Integrity: ARC Babatunde J. Owoeye
Of particular note is Assistant Route Commander Babatunde J. Owoeye of the Osun Command, who alone was responsible for 104 of the total 563 bookings. His outstanding vigilance and commitment to ethical conduct have earned him commendation from the Corps leadership.

Commending the officers involved, Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed praised Osun Sector Command and ARC Owoeye for their resolute stance against inducement and extortion.
