In a gesture of educational philanthropy and interfaith outreach, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has donated a total of N15 million to two notable institutions in Bauchi State:
Malikiya College of Nursing Sciences, Darazo
Intisharu Taufizul Quranic School
During a brief visit to the state on Thursday, Mr. Obi presented the donations as part of his ongoing efforts to support educational development and youth empowerment across Nigeria, regardless of region or religion.

N10 million was donated to Malikiya College of Nursing Sciences, an institution known for producing frontline healthcare professionals in northern Nigeria.
N5 million was presented to Intisharu Taufizul Quranic School, which focuses on Islamic and Quranic education for young scholars.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Obi emphasized that education remains the most sustainable investment in Nigeria’s future and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting both Western and Islamic educational institutions across the country.
