President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially appointed Ms. Rinsola Abiola as the new Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), affirming his administration’s focus on enhancing leadership development and citizenship education across Nigeria.
Ms. Abiola, a seasoned expert in strategic communication and government relations, brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as Senior Special Assistant to the President. Her appointment signals a renewed commitment to fostering effective leadership and responsible citizenship within the country.
In a complementary appointment, President Tinubu has named Nasir Bala Aminu Ja'oji as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership. Mr. Ja'oji is well-known for his advocacy in women and youth empowerment and has held notable positions, including Special Adviser on Mobilisation to the Governor of Kano State and membership on the Governing Council of Coordinated Arewa Youth Groups.
These strategic appointments are expected to bolster the CLTC’s mandate of training and nurturing Nigeria’s future leaders through innovative programs that emphasize integrity, inclusiveness, and civic responsibility.
